The Super League has added another NRL talent to its competition for the 2027 season with Moala Graham-Taufa, a South Sydney Rabbitohs outside back, signing a two-year deal with Hull KR.

Graham-Taufa will join the club after playing for NRL sides the Sydney Roosters, New Zealand Warriors, and most recently the South Sydney Rabbitohs, where he struggled for first-grade minutes.

Since his debut in 2021 with the Roosters, the 24-year-old has made only seven NRL appearances. However, he has made a name for himself with impressive performances in the NSW Cup, with 87 appearances and 53 tries in his reserve grade career.

When speaking to Hull KR media, Graham-Taufa expressed his desire to prove himself in the Super League. “This is an opportunity for me to prove myself in the Super League and take on a new challenge,” he said. “I think I’ll bring a lot of energy to the group and I’m excited to pull on the Hull KR jersey and represent the club and the fans.”

Graham-Taufa played his junior rugby league with Marist Saints before moving to Australia and progressing through the Sydney Roosters’ junior system. He will link up with new head coach Nathan Cayless, who previously coached against him in the NSW Cup.

Cayless spoke highly of Graham-Taufa, saying, “In my opinion, Moala has been the best centre in the NSW Cup in 2026. The attributes that attracted me to him are his powerful running, his tackle-breaking ability, and the fact he’s a try-scorer. These are things that will complement what we already have and help us continue to improve the squad.”
